Technical Specifications

•	The Yashica Minister II is a 35mm rangefinder camera 
        with built-in selenium meter 
•	Manufactured or assembled in Japan from 1962
•	The Minister family consists of the Minister (1960), 
        Minister II (1962), Minister D (1963), Minister 700    
        (1964), and the Minister II (1966). 
•	The Minister II (as with the majority of Ministers) exists 
        with a f/2.8 4.5 cm lens (1962) or with a f/1.9 (1964) 
        lens.
•	A small ridged knob is rotated to tell the exposure 
        meter the sensitivity of the film in the camera.
        The shutter is a Copal SVL. LVS (or SVL) means Light 
        Value Scale
•	This indicates the system of setting the shutter, in 
        which the aperture (f-stop) and shutter speed are 
        coupled.
•	Reading the meter yields a number which must be set 
        on the LVS ring of the lens.
